      Organic Wild Rice

      Directions

Stove Top Cooking Instructions: This product is raw and must be cooked in order to enjoy its delicious flavor. 1. Using a fine mesh sieve, thoroughly rinse 8oz of wild rice under cold water for 1-2 minutes and drain. 2. In a 2 qt. saucepan bring 2-1/4 cups water to a boil. Stir in wild rice. 3. Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer and cook for 45-50 minutes. 4. With lid on, remove from heat and let steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and enjoy. Tip: If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, add 1-2 tbsp. liquid and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes. Rice Cooker: To prepare in a rice cooker, use the same rice to liquid ratio as stovetop instructions.

Refrigerate recommended for extended shell life.
